FIRSTMAN is engaged in the field of Outsourcing of all kinds of Manpower across the Country. Hence Human Power is the Heart & Soul of FIRSTMAN. Thus, the Company’s ultimate and long-time CSR objective is “to improve the standard of living of the common public through long term value creation” which is very in line with FIRSTMAN’s core strength of Human Resources.
As per the guiding norms the Company shall allocate at least 2% of its net profit before taxes of the preceding Financial Year, towards CSR activities to sustain and improve a thriving atmosphere and quality of life amongst the socio and economically backward sections of the society. Any surpluses arising out of the CSR programmes or activities shall be re-utilised back into CSR activities and will not be part of the business profits of the Company.
The Company shall also persuade its employees and other partners in nurturing a sense of social commitment.
CSR Focus Areas:
FIRSTMAN will focus primarily on Education & Skill Development, Health, Sports and Environmental sustainability in Rural areas (refer Annexure-I) so as to improve and set-up a level playing ground in employment.
Approach, Delivery and Governance Mechanism:
The Company’s approach (refer Annexure-II) will be through Volunteerism, Partnerships, and Communication.
While most of the CSR activities will be implemented through an internal arrangement within the Company. The Company will also partner with credible organisations to design, fund and implement the projects.
FIRSTMAN will have a CSR Committee comprising of its Board of Directors to govern and review the CSR activities from time to time.
Review of Policy:
The CSR Policy will be reviewed from time to time and changes as may be necessary will be made after obtaining due approval from CSR Committee.

Guiding Principles for CSR
- Volunteerism: FIRSTMAN is very much interested in providing opportunities to its employees and their families to engage voluntarily in all its CSR initiatives which will benefit the communities in which they live. It will have a positive impact on their connect with the local community and also improve skills in addressing social challenges.
- Partnerships: The Company will engage with likeminded Corporate organisations, Non-Governmental organisations, Community based organisations for bringing in complementary resources and expertise which will help in better performance and also to establish other CSR activities.
- Communication: The Company will establish proper communication channels, so that feedback on the needs, expectations and satisfaction levels can be obtained from the stakeholders. This will help in redesigning & improving the initiatives so as to have the intended impact.
